Welcome back ladies, women, and girls of the internet. Though the hit Britney Spears song came out nearly decades ago, it's just as relatable today as it was then. It doesn't matter how old you are either; sometimes life gets tough, exhausting, or monotonous, and it's easier to just throw your hands up in the air and say phew. Being a girl who doesn't want to commit to the responsibility of her age is okay. Everyone matures and grows up in their own time.

From long work days, terrible first dates on apps, and the struggle to support oneself, it can be overwhelming just to exist. Sometimes you feel like you're not ready to handle this kind of adulting, and sometimes you feel like a strong, independent woman. The good thing is that you don't have to choose one! You can be both a little girl, and a woman at the same time, meaning you're somewhere in the middle.
